Previously, he worked for the district as the MSAP Grant Supervisor and as a Resource Teacher and a Supervisor in the Magnet Office, and has also taught Science at both the middle and high school level. He is a three-time presenter at Magnet Schools of America conferences. He has been involved in the curriculum development for both Baltimore County Public Schools and Norfolk Public Schools.
