National Magnet School Month
Student Poster Contest

2015 Student Poster Contest Winners

Celebrating National Magnet School Month

The 9th Annual National Magnet School Student Poster Contest is sponsored by Magnet Schools of America and is part of the celebration of National Magnet School Month in February. This is a national initiative to highlight and promote magnet schools across the country.

This year we expanded the theme of the contest to allow for more creativity and expression. Students had the option to express/interpret one of the pillars of magnet schools OR all five. Diversity, Innovative Curriculum and Professional Development, Academic Excellence, High-Quality Instructional Systems, and Family and Community Partnerships.

Thank you to all the students, teachers, schools and districts for your submissions. Online voting for the top five posters from each level (elementary, middle and high) took place during National Magnet School Month and addressed 1) adherence to theme; 2) clear and concise message/how well the theme is articulated; 3) originality and organization; and 4) use of color and design. The top three winners for each level are listed below.

Congratulations to all for a job well done!
