Due to the severe winter storm conditions in the city, the 2010 Legislative Advocacy Training Conference has been cancelled.  Attendee registration fees will be refunded in full and appropriate speaker materials as we receive them will be posted on the MSA website.

Today, President Obama released his Fiscal Year 2011 Federal Budget and we are happy to report that the Magnet Schools Assistance Program (MSAP) was increased by 10% to $110 million for FY 2011. In addition to the increase, it is important to note that the MSAP program is NOT one of the 38 programs slated for consolidation or elimination by the President's proposed budget. The relevant portion of the budget is attached.
